Dress Code for Capitol Day 2010
Although, we know most students take pride in their appearance and would dress professionally to visit our state capitol, we would like to reiterate the dress code of business professional required.
- Slacks or knee length or longer skirts
- Button down dress shirt and tie for men, jacket optional
- Blouse or professional sweater for women
- No t-shirts or shirts with pictures on them
- No shorts or mini skirts
- No jeans/denim
- No tennis shoes/sneakers, sandals/flip-flops, or open toed shoes. We will be on guided walking tours so wear comfortable shoes.
- No midriff baring tops
- No low rise pants that show undergarments
- No sleeveless/strapless tops.
- The facilities are usually cool so you might want to bring/wear a blazer or sweater.
The dress code is a reference. Students should remember that they are representing themselves as future nurses and professionals. Attire that could be worn to an interview would be most appropriate.
